Description

Cistus Reserva is made from the traditional Douro varieties Tinta Roriz, Touriga Franca and Touriga Nacional, and offers a good body, firm and enveloping tannins, highlighting warm spices that come from ageing in French and American oak barrels. Quinta do Vale da Perdiz is a family‑run estate that focuses on the quality/price ratio, aiming to deliver quality wines to consumers at attractive prices. The founding partner, António Augusto Fernandes, has devoted his life to vines and wines, beginning production in 1989. All wines from Quinta do Vale da Perdiz are sold under the “Cistus” brand and are produced from grapes sourced from the Upper Douro, largely from the Fernandes family vineyards that own the estate, covering approximately 50 hectares spread over six vineyards.
