This Cottas Vintage offers a journey of evolution, anchored by Touriga Nacional and Aragonez which deliver an initial burst of intense fruit. As it matures, the deep, dark colour – a legacy of Tinta Barroca – softens, revealing a more refined structure, worthy of a ‘Grande Escolha’. That characteristic ‘crosta’ that forms in the bottle is a clear sign of its developing complexity; best enjoyed slowly, perhaps with a good aged cheese and crusty bread.
