This Dourosa clearly leaned into freshness, with cool fermentation – a classic trick to really showcase the fruit and keep it from becoming overly austere. It’s a relaxed wine, perfect with Italian dishes, a nice chicken breast, or perhaps a white fish. The Touriga Nacional and Tinta Barroca bring a touch of rustic charm, but its easy-drinking quality is undoubtedly a welcome attribute.
