Description

This Dows, hailing from the heart of the Douro, is a beautiful tribute to bygone eras. The colour, a rich, amber-tinged hue reflecting the age of the vines, promises a complex aroma – toasted almonds, reminiscent of honey clinging to the vines, and the vanilla characteristic of the *Vinhas Velhas* variety. A touch of crystallized orange peel provides an elegant citrus note, while subtle tobacco adds depth. On the palate, it’s wonderfully velvety, with an incredibly long finish, ideally paired with a good aged cheese.
