This wine, hailing from the Alentejo and boasting a vibrant ruby hue, clearly enjoyed a rather spirited youth. Blackcurrant and perfectly ripe raspberry notes playfully mingle with the fresh vibrancy of tomato leaf – a hallmark of the Aragonez grape. Hints of eucalyptus subtly nod to the warmth of the Pias terroir. The influence of French oak – vanilla and toasted notes – ensures a remarkable balance, a feat only achieved with a touch of Petit Verdot and the assertive character of Alicante Bouschet.
