Description

This wine, hailing from the Alentejo, clearly benefitted from a remarkably bold 2015 vintage. The dry winter and unusual temperatures spurred an early harvest – thankfully, without the stress that might have compromised quality. The Bouschet grapes, as always, shone through, delivering those characteristic fruity aromas and a lovely persistence, very much reflective of the Reguengos de Monsaraz and Portalegre terroir. Seriously, it’s fantastic with game – a perfect pairing, wouldn’t you agree?
