This Touriga Nacional from Esporão truly seems to have spent a long time absorbing the spirit of the Alentejo. Expect a palate bursting with blackberries and cherries, underpinned by a hint of plum – a clear reflection of the region’s rich soil. The subtle oak influence adds a welcome layer of complexity, beautifully balanced with the typical texture and longevity of the Alentejo. A well-deserved 93 points, and utterly delightful with black pork and bean purée, wouldn't you agree?
