The Esporão company was born in Alentejo from an unyielding desire to produce the best wines. This motivation is the legacy behind all its wines and the main reason it has expanded its range into other products and territories. The Esporão estate, located in the heart of Alentejo in Reguengos de Monsaraz, offers unique agricultural conditions – wide temperature swings, poor and varied soils, and an extraordinary biodiversity that helps the land thrive in harmony with the environment. With about 702 hectares of vineyards, olive groves, and other crops cultivated under a Biological Production System, the estate now cultivates roughly 40 grape varieties, four olive types, and includes orchards and vegetable gardens.
