Fermented in these rather ‘unique’ amphorae, it’s clear they’ve taken a patient approach – waiting until November to fully develop its complex mineral character, reminiscent of clay and black pepper, with a subtle hint of cinnamon and dark chocolate, all thanks to the Touriga Nacional. Expect a powerfully structured and full-bodied wine with a lingering sweetness, perfect alongside some aged cheeses.”
