This Ferreira Tawny is a beautiful, slightly faded ruby in colour, immediately hinting at notes of spice and a touch of dried fruit – all thanks to its careful aging in oak. On the palate, it’s a remarkably elegant wine, with a wonderfully balanced sweetness and smooth, mature tannins, earning it a well-deserved 86 points from CellarTracker. It would pair exceptionally well with a good aged cheese, or perhaps a decadent cherry pudding.
