This Cabernet Sauvignon from Finca Flichman is a seriously robust number – expect a deeply captivating experience. The extended 18 months aging in oak barrels has gifted it with a wonderfully complex nose of ripe black fruit, spiced notes, and a subtle herbaceousness, very much reminiscent of the prestigious vineyards of the Douro. The tannins are present but beautifully refined, making it a superb match for grilled red meats, or, if you're feeling adventurous, a hearty wild boar roast. A wine that, with that impressive 93-95pt score from Revista de Vinhos de Portugal, certainly doesn’t disappoint.
