This Fita Preta Reserva certainly packs a punch. The deep ruby-violet hue hints at a concentrated dark fruit profile, beautifully balanced by herbaceous notes – a favourite of Robert Parker, who awarded it a remarkable 94 points. The tannins are robust, and the finish is impressively long, demanding contemplation. Seriously, this would be fantastic with a slow-roasted beef, perhaps elevated with a generous pinch of black pepper.
