This Fiuza, a blend of Touriga Nacional and Cabernet Sauvignon, delivers a wonderfully vibrant red. The Tejo terroir – with its lovely maritime influence – provides a welcome burst of acidity that really wakes up the palate, balancing the rich, ripe fruit with the characteristic herbaceous notes of the Cabernet Sauvignon. A wine that’s already earned a Gold Medal at the Enolargo competition; excellent with grilled beef or a hearty wild boar roast, to be precise.
