This Foz Torto, straight from the heart of the Douro, isn’t a wine you’ll easily forget. Predominantly made with Rabigão and Touriga Nacional – the region’s stalwart varieties – it delivers a full-bodied red with plenty of tannin, but thankfully maintains a refreshing vibrancy. A winning combination, particularly suited to tackling a generous beef roast. And, of course, it’s a wine that’s already earned a gold medal at the Decanter World Wine Awards, suggesting the producer certainly doesn’t hold back.
