This Grand Marrenon Syrah & Grenache clearly has a thing for patience. Harvested late in September, it’s a pursuit of that elusive, perfect ripeness, and the extended maceration during winemaking gives it a wonderfully smooth texture. Maturation in French oak adds a touch of freshness, really highlighting the Syrah’s fruit and the Grenache’s vibrancy – a fantastic match with some roasted duck or perhaps a selection of cured meats, wouldn’t you agree?
