Crafted primarily with Touriga Nacional and a generous splash of cheer, it delivers a refreshingly fruity red, firmly rooted in the Douro’s character, yet remarkably light on the palate. Expect aromas of ripe black fruit alongside a hint of damp stone, culminating in a lingering finish. Decanter’s 90 points certainly validate our initial impression – a wine that’s a delight and pairs beautifully, particularly with grilled meats or earthy mushroom dishes.
