This Antão Vaz from the Alentejo boasts a lovely straw hue and delivers a burst of blackcurrant and pear flavours – a true testament to the region’s exceptional terroir. Cold maceration and an impressive eight months of batonage have given it a remarkably dense and persistent structure, perfect for pairing with delicate game birds or grilled fish. It’s no surprise then that the wine press awarded it 17 points, and noted its considerable ageing potential.
