The Herdade da Pimenta Vinha do Botas red wine is made from Alicante Bouschet and Trincadeira grapes. After 18 months of ageing in French oak barrels, it displays a ruby colour with violet reflections that captivate at first sight. Its aroma is a symphony of red fruits with earthy and balsamic notes, while the palate reveals remarkable freshness, exemplary structure, and integrated tannins. Casa Relvas is a family project that began in 1997 in São Miguel de Machede, Redondo, by Alexandre Relvas, with the aim of continuing the story of five generations steeped in a passion for Alentejo and its authentic character. Over the years the family grew alongside the business, and it has not taken long for the estate to encompass roughly 750 hectares of forest, 225 hectares of olive grove, and 350 hectares of vineyard—all under integrated production. With its three estates—São Miguel, Pimenta, and São Miguel de Machede—Casa Relvas can produce about 6 million bottles of wine annually, 70 % of which are exported, with a presence in more than 30 countries worldwide, offering the best of Alentejo.
