Herdade do Rocim The “Herdade do Rocim” Alicante Bouschet is an authentic wine born from generations who have always treated the land with the utmost respect and tenderness. It is made from the Alicante Bouschet grape, carefully foot‑pushed in a traditional stone press, then aged in French oak barrels. Located between Vidigueira and Cuba in the Lower Alentejo, Herdade do Rocim covers about 70 hectares of vineyards, 53 of which are red varieties and the remaining 17 white. Characterised by sandy‑loam soils, the estate focuses on producing high‑quality grapes. The Herdade’s cellar, a key element of the project, combines wine production with the aesthetic quality of its architecture, serving as a marketing and promotional asset that elevates the region. **Vinification**: Hand‑harvested in 12‑kg crates. In the cellar, grapes were carefully selected on a vibrating pick‑table and lightly crushed.
