Born from the “old vines” of Alvações do Corgo, at 400 metres above sea level and basking in optimal sunlight, this Rosé from Horta Osório’s Matrona bottling is a bold statement. The blend – 30% Malvasia Preta, 20% Baga, 20% Touriga Franca and 10% Mourisco – delivers remarkable complexity, pushing beyond the typical Rosé profile. Winemaking focuses on preserving the grape’s integrity, utilising barrel fermentation with bâtonnage, to maintain the distinct character of this exceptional parcel. Perfect paired with grilled fish or seafood.
