Description

This Iter from the Douro bursts with a deep, almost secretive purple hue, hinting at vines that have witnessed centuries. The aromas are a clear sign of ripeness – dark berry sweetness, but with a lovely toasted note suggesting careful maturation in oak barrels, underpinned by the characteristic spices of the Douro Valley. Remarkably smooth tannins, reminiscent of the ‘Vinhas Velhas’ (Old Vineyards), lend a supremely seductive texture. Definitely best paired with grilled beef – a classic combination.
