Description

Jean‑François Ganevat is unique; there is no other like him in the world. His wines are precious gems born from the extreme care this “vigneron” gives to every stage of the grape, from the vine to the liquid gold that emerges. He is much more than a biodynamic farmer—he is a perfectionist who even gives each of his small cuvées a unique, bespoke “elevage,” a detail that could drive anyone mad. It is in Jura, though he once worked with Jean‑Marc Morey in Burgundy, that Ganevat produces his wines. Nestled in an enclave between Burgundy and Switzerland, the vineyards that supply all of the producer’s cuvées reflect an immortal mirror of each of his terroirs. As a passionate biodynamic, his wines contain only the tiniest traces of sulfur, and in some cases none at all.
