The vines that give rise to this red are little treasures in the Riojan village of Labastida, aged between 45 and 80 years. José and Vicky recognise the richness of these Tempranillo, Garnacha, Viura, and Palomino vines, so they grow them organically. To preserve the full essence of their privileged origin, vinification is carried out in stainless‑steel tanks, while ageing takes place in concrete and used French oak barrels.
