This Kelman is a wonderfully warm expression from the Dão, a blend that lovingly pays homage to tradition with a clever contemporary twist. Expect vibrant aromas of red berries and wild forest fruits, beautifully balanced by delicate floral notes, thanks to the harmonious blend of Touriga Nacional and Baga. Rooted in a vineyard with a truly remarkable history – vines planted ‘à moda antiga’ – this wine clearly reflects its heritage. The meticulous, hand-harvested process, coupled with granite lagar foot treading and a refined maceration, ensures a wonderfully fresh extraction of fruit and tannins. Following a gentle period in third-use French oak barrels and stainless steel tanks, the result is a remarkably food-friendly wine, ideal for accompanying hearty beef dishes or roasted poultry.
