This Kompassus, a project born from Anselmo Mendes’ vision, is a sparkling wine that boldly bucks the trend, truly embodying the spirit of Bairrada. Expect a riot of intensely fresh red fruit, reminiscent of João Póvoa’s brushstrokes, alongside a remarkably refined elegance – all thanks to the region’s distinctive clay-chalk soils and Mediterranean climate. The winemaking, meticulously conducted with cold pressing and a remarkable 107-month ageing on the lees, delivers incredible complexity.
