Description

Lagoalva: The long tradition of Quinta da Lagoalva as a wine producer was first noted in 1888 at the Portuguese Industrial Exhibition, where it showcased 600 cases of wine. The white wine Lagoalva Sauvignon Blanc is crafted from 45 hectares of vineyards planted in the finest terroirs of the Tejo, using both national and international varieties with proven enological merit. The vineyards benefit from a modern management system, as does the cellar, blending efficient vinification with versatile enological options that marry a “new‑world” approach with traditional European techniques. Grapes are mechanically harvested at the end of August and September, under cover to preserve aromas, and processed immediately in the cellar. After 48 hours of decantation, the clarified must ferments in stainless‑steel tanks at 16 °C. Winemakers: Pedro Pinhão / Luís Paulino. Allergen information: contains sulfites.
