“This Monte Cantado is one of those wines that truly commands attention – and frankly, we’re not entirely sure why. It presents a deceptively calm appearance, yet boasts a surprisingly full body. The blend of Trincadeira, alongside Alicante Bouschet and Aragonez, delivers a beautiful deep ruby colour and aromas of dark fruit and spice, reminiscent of classic Portuguese melodies. On the palate, it’s remarkably smooth and possesses enough substance to pair beautifully with a hearty roasted meat, or perhaps even a comforting duck rice.”
