This Alentejo wine from Casa Clara certainly seems to be aiming for more than just a drink – it’s a fascinating project blending wine, olive oil, and a commitment to sustainable, biodynamic production. The nose reveals delicate floral notes alongside a subtle hint of tobacco, quite poetic, really. On the palate, the rounded tannins and structure suggest a vineyard that’s clearly allowed to mature gracefully, likely with a generous contribution from Aragonez and Trincadeira. Absolutely wonderful with grilled beef – a truly relaxing pairing.
