Connected to the José de Mello family for several generations, Monte da Ravasqueira is located in the municipality of Arraiolos, one hour from Lisbon, occupying a vast expanse of typically Alentejo landscape. Its management and operation are ensured by Sociedade Agrícola D. Diniz, SA. Endowed with excellent geological and climatic conditions for producing the finest wine the Alentejo has to offer, Monte da Ravasqueira has undergone significant investment in vineyard planting, as well as in winemaking equipment and meteorological and phytosanitary facilities. The investments made at Monte da Ravasqueira also include a set of infrastructure supporting the development of a wine tourism project. Committed to producing wines of distinctive quality, Monte da Ravasqueira also pursues a range of other activities related to cork, olive oil, honey, cattle breeding, and the fattening of the Alentejo black pig.
