This Douro wine seems to have spent some quality time aging in oak, revealing a refined expression of black fruit. The tannins are incredibly smooth – a reassuring touch from a skilled winemaker – and leave a wonderfully lingering finish. Seriously, it’s a fantastic match with a hearty roast.
