Description

The production of Moscatel, as a fortified wine, is similar to that of Port, resulting in sweet wines whose alcoholic fermentation is halted by adding grape spirit. After a defined period of skin maceration, the Moscatel is racked into barrels to age and refine its richly aromatic profile. These wines are made from the various Moscatel grape varieties, internationally renowned for their aromatic richness and natural sugar concentration. The bottling year may not match the image shown.
