This Ode Amphora is a frankly riotous Alicante Bouschet – a wine that throws the notion of subtlety straight out the window. Fermented and aged in traditional amphorae, you can really taste the centuries of tradition, resulting in a powerfully textured wine with an unexpectedly graceful finish. Seriously, it’s phenomenal with slow-braised lamb, or for a truly decadent pairing, try it alongside a good Parmigiano Reggiano or Serra do Estrela cheese.
