This "Palpite" from the Alentejo – a rather bold name, I must say – certainly delivers an unexpected experience. Primarily made with Trincadeira and Aragonez, it’s a medium-bodied wine with noticeable tannins, beautifully balanced by fresh fruit. Remarkably, despite not garnering any awards, it pairs exceptionally well with a good grilled steak or, perhaps more traditionally, a hearty *carne de porco à alentejana*.
