This Magnum from Pedra Cancela is a serious contender for a journey straight to the Douro’s heart. Built around Touriga Nacional, it’s bolstered by Alfrocheiro and Tinta Roriz, delivering a wonderfully earthy complexity alongside ripe red fruit – very much in keeping with the region’s character. It’s got a good, medium body and supple tannins; perfect with a beautifully grilled beef – a classic pairing, executed with a distinctly elegant touch, of course.
