The majority of the grapes come from the Vale do Rio Pinhão. Touriga Nacional and Tinta Roriz handle the summer heat exceptionally well. Grapes from other Douro valleys were also incorporated, producing a classic regional blend. Fermentation was carried out in a mix of closed vats to preserve freshness and aromatic qualities, alongside open vats (lagar) to add greater complexity and structure.
