This Provezaide 17 Plus certainly seems to have had a spirited youth – and a remarkably delicious one at that. Despite its high alcohol, it’s surprisingly fresh, thanks to stainless steel fermentation and a lengthy aging in French oak. The nose bursts with dark, almost youthful fruit alongside floral notes, while on the palate, the richness and density are beautifully tempered by mature, silky tannins. It’s a truly harmonious wine with juicy fruit and a vibrant acidity, finishing with remarkable length and, frankly, impeccable balance. Ideal with a hearty roast, for those who aren’t afraid to be a little bold.
