QALT tinto “unoaked” is a wine crafted from the traditional Duruense grape varieties – Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, and Tinta Roriz – planted at altitude, presenting itself as a genuine, young wine with freshness, elegance and a fruit‑forward aroma free of masking. The Quinta Alta project was launched in 2000 when a Brazilian couple, Fernanda Zuccaro and Chico Santa Rita, fell in love with the Douro and set out to realise an old dream. Located in the parish of Ervedosa, the estate now covers 7 hectares, mostly planted with vines.
