Description

This Quinta da Biaia wine is a lovely tribute to tradition, showcasing those classic Beira Interior castas – Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca and Rufete – which have been maturing in the vineyards for over 30 years. Expect a beautiful expression of red fruit, cedar, and a hint of mocha. The careful fermentation in stainless steel and the extended ageing (20 months) in French oak barrels contribute to a remarkably smooth texture and delicate tannins. It would be fantastic with a perfectly grilled beef steak or alongside a good, cured Iberian ham.
