“This Dão white from Boas Quintas has clearly spent some time in quiet contemplation – the extended, gentle maceration technique certainly helped! It’s a clever move, really, designed to coax the full potential from the key grapes, notably the Encruzado and Touriga Nacional. The influence of 50% Allier oak adds a layer of elegance, but thankfully doesn't diminish the wines’ inherent expressiveness. It would pair beautifully with grilled fish or a hearty beef roast.”
