This Pacheca, a true Douro classic, exudes the very spirit of the region. Crafted primarily from Touriga Nacional and Touriga Franca, and guided by the expertise of Maria Serpa Pimentel, it bursts with a deep ruby colour, a nose brimming with black fruit and a hint of spiced chocolate. On the palate, it’s impressively structured and complex, boasting smooth, refined tannins and a remarkably long finish. A genuine gem, meticulously vinified in lagares and aged for 18 months in French oak, it’s a wine designed for a lingering, memorable experience – ideally paired with a hearty roast.
