This Quinta da Ponte Pedrinha Reserva is a wonderfully complex wine, born from painstakingly hand-harvested grapes in 20kg boxes. The extended maceration, coupled with a gentle ageing in French oak barrels, releases a captivating bouquet of ripe fruit and herbaceous notes, finishing with a bright hint of bergamot. It’s remarkably fresh and well-structured, and frankly, deserves to be paired with grilled meats or, predictably, a perfectly executed salt cod dish – a classic combination that really showcases this wine’s refined character.
