Quinta D’Azinheira Region: Portugal, Douro – sub‑region Baixo Corgo. Production site: Aldeia da Azinheira, Santa Marta de Penaguião, left bank of the Corgo River. Altitude: Between 300 and 400 metres. Vineyard: Sandy soils with high stoniness | Vineyards aged 5 to 25 years. Vinification: The grapes, hand‑picked at the optimal ripeness and transported in 20‑kg crates, were carefully selected, destemmed and gently crushed. Pressing was performed in a vertical press. The must was decanted for 48 h at 8 °C in a stainless‑steel vessel. Alcoholic fermentation took place at 12 °C over 30 days. This was followed by an 8‑month maturation in stainless steel with bâtonnage on fine lees. Bottled in August 2024. Enology: Luís Leocádio. Analytical parameters: Total acidity = 6.3 g L⁻¹ | Volatile acidity = 0.40 g L⁻¹ | pH = 3.39 | Residual sugars = 0.6 g L⁻¹ | Total dry extract = 25 g L⁻¹.
