Quinta de Arcossó Quinta de Arcossó owns a 0.8‑hectare plot that is part of a 20‑hectare estate of century‑old vineyards, planted with white, red and rosé varieties. The vines are not aligned in formal rows and are not supported by stakes or wire. In addition to the vines, the property hosts olive trees (not limited to the vineyard borders) and other fruit trees, situated at an average altitude of 440 m. The soil is granitic in origin. This wine is a true blend of red and rosé varieties, with no Touriga Nacional or Touriga Franca. **Vinification** The grapes were harvested on 15 September and processed in a foot‑pounded press (lagar). The wine aged for 12 months in French oak barrels, with only one‑third of the wine remaining in new oak for 4 months during each passage. At each change, one‑third of the wine returned to new oak barrels while the rest aged in stainless steel. The resulting 2,000 bottles were bottled in July 2021 and will remain in the cellar for an additional three years.
