This Quinta do Côtto Reserva is a bold statement, born from the schistous soils of the Lower Corgo. The winemaker, following the Champalimaud family’s tradition, bravely bottled it straight from barrique – a move that’s quite the revival! The result is a deeply ruby wine, brimming with complexity and dark chocolate, spice, and ripe red fruit, all beautifully balanced with a subtle smoky note. The influence of new and used French oak has given it wonderfully smooth tannins and a truly satisfying finish. Seriously, perfect with a hearty beef dish or some earthy mushrooms.

Sousão, Tinta Barroca, Touriga Francesa, Tempranillo, Tinto Cão, Tinta Roriz, Aragonez, Touriga Nacional, Bastardo, Vinhas Velhas, Trincadeira
