The Quinta do Gradil Bivarietal Cabernet Sauvignon and Tinta Roriz showcases an intense ruby hue, with aromas of forest berries accented by a balsamic touch and hints of tobacco leaf. On the palate it is structured, featuring vigorous yet well-integrated tannins, finishing long and persistent. Quinta do Gradil has been part of Portuguese wine history since 1492. It was only in the 17th century that the vineyard and its wine became an integral part of the estate’s economic activity. The most decisive turning point came in the 19th century, when Dona Maria do Carmo Romeiro da Fonseca inherited the property from her father, transforming it into a leading agricultural enterprise focused on wine production. Years later, Quinta do Gradil remains a Portuguese benchmark worldwide, now under the leadership of Luís Vieira. (illustrative image only)
