Quinta do Gradil Bivarietal Cabernet Sauvignon and Tinta Roriz reveals an intense ruby colour, with aromas of forest berries accompanied by a balsamic note and tobacco leaf. On the palate it is structured, with vigorous yet well-integrated tannins, and it finishes long and persistent. Quinta do Gradil has been recorded in the history of Portuguese wines since 1492. However, it was only in the 17th century that the vineyard and the wine became part of the estate's economic activity. But it was in the 19th century that one of the most decisive moments occurred, when Dona Maria do Carmo Romeiro da Fonseca inherited Quinta do Gradil from her father, transforming it into a leading agricultural business focused on wine production.
