This Castelão from Quinta do Monte Alegre clearly enjoyed a little quiet time before its unveiling. Initially, a certain reserve emerges, hinting at ripe plum and cherry, with a refreshing mint note reminiscent of the Setúbal Peninsula. It’s a lively and adaptable wine with medium body and supple tannins – perfect for a good pairing. Best enjoyed with a hearty beef dish or grilled fish.
