This Rosé from Quinta do Pessegueiro Aluze clearly saw a harvest treated with serious reverence – those 25kg crates must have packed a flavour punch, thanks to the Rufete grapes. Indigenous yeasts added a wonderfully distinct character, and the fine lees aging resulted in a luxuriously smooth texture and a lingering finish. Bottled on a memorable date, April 28th, 2016, it’s a wine begging for a celebration, particularly alongside grilled fish and a squeeze of lemon.
