Quinta Nova de Nossa Senhora do Carmo is a place of extraordinary beauty in the heart of the Douro, owned by the Amorim family since 1999. The family’s link to wine stems from their longstanding ties to export houses in Vila Nova de Gaia, through the cork trade, but it was only recently that this connection realized a dream, with the project now in the hands of the fourth generation.
