Quinta Nova de Nossa Senhora do Carmo is a place of extraordinary beauty in the heart of the Douro, and it has been owned by the Amorim family since 1999. The family’s connection to wine stretches back through their ties to export houses in Vila Nova de Gaia, linked to the cork trade; this relationship ultimately realized a dream, and the project now rests in the hands of the fourth generation.
